I think you will be pleased to hear the incredible fall out from your brilliantly guided session with Justice Works.  The retreat evaluations were all glowing, with virtually every member believing he/she will be a more effective board member.  Enthusiasm is so incredibly high that we are already working to channel that energy even before our next board meeting.  

Our executive committee has prioritized the next steps from among a lengthy list of interests expressed in the evaluations.   

Already the format for board meetings has been revamped.  

We are well along the way towards reconstituting our nominating committee into a governance committee and writing up its charge.    

We expect to receive a clear and mission-specific report on our SNAP Program.  Your introduction to the logic model will enable us to tackle the program evaluation with reduced board/staff tension.  This will tie in directly to a re-examination of our mission.  

For my part, I have taken ownership of the leadership role because I have a much clearer understanding of what that role entails.
