Board Management

This workshop will help you understand the role of the Board of Directors in supporting your organization.

A creative tension exists in every organization between the concern of the board with fulfilling its oversight and supportive responsibilities, and the need of the staff for freedom to fulfill its administrative and program responsibilities. Participants will learn how to apply the skills of goal setting, planning, infrastructure building, listening, conflict resolution and team building to productively balance these needs and to increase the Board's ability to serve the agency.
